I am sure everyone has heard about the over night success of one of our own. Jeremy Lin has taken the NBA by storm. He was first cut by the Golden State Warriors and then by the Houston Rockets. He could of quit and maybe go back for his MBA or become a doctor, but he stayed the course. He was picked up by the New York Knicks and is doing amazing. I am so proud of him because it opens doors for Asian Americans to become anything they put their minds to. I felt this way when Barack Obama won the presidency. It opens the door for an Asian American to become the president of the United States. I love this country and the opportunity it gives to all it's citizens. Go Jeremy Lin and the New York Knicks. I can't believe I'm saying that growing up in Boston!!! You gotta love the story though.
